8 Things You Must Know When Having a Cat for a Pet - Introduction

Welcome to the wonderful world of cats!

Did you know that when you decided to have a cat for a pet, it is actually the cat who is adopting you? Your life will take on a different glow. Whether your cat is an inquisitive companion, a playful rascal or an independent diva, your life will be really changed.

Cats are never predictable. They choose to see the world in their own unique ways.

Here are some tips and advices which will enlighten you in every step of the way in preparing yourself for new pet cat. This will give you insights into the world a cat sees.

The first question you have in mind is, "Why a cat?" Most people would prefer dogs or birds or fish. And for some queer others would choose a snake, a spider, a gecko, and some other reptiles. Well, a cat can also give the loyalty of a dog or the colorful and playful gaze of a bird or fish. A plus factor, is that, a cat is very self-sufficient and independent. You need not worry about their food or drink if you will be out of town for several days. You need not take them to bath so often because they know how to themselves. They won't catch ticks like those of the dogs. Most of all, cats protects humans from those snakes and rats ( Did you know? If it is a fight between snakes and cats, the cats always win except of course if the snake is an Anaconda. However, most fights between an Anaconda and a  wild or domesticated cat, the cat can usually run away fast ).
